Trenary Bakery was built in 1928 and has been producing Trenary Toast and other baked goods for over 93 years!!! The recipe was brought from Finland by Grandpa Gust when he immigrated in 1913. This unique hard, cinnamon sugar, dunking toast has the desirable quality of a very long shelf life and has endured as a favorite snack in the Upper Peninsula by Yoopers.
